Mokoan Solar Farm

Located on Lee Road and Nelson Road, Winton, in the Hume Region of Victoria, Mokoan Solar farm is European Energy’s first project to enter construction in Australia. Engaged from March 2024, James Civil Group has successfully partnered with a specialised Ecology Team to delivery an early works package to prepare the site for construction.  From April 2024, James Civil Group has commenced construction of internal roads, hardstands, lay down areas and site drainage. Glenrowan Solar Farm

The Glenrowan Solar Farm is a 130MWac solar project located 2km south-west of Glenrowan, in the Rural City of Wangaratta, approximately 230 kilometres north-east of Melbourne, Victoria. Commencing works in December 2023 and completing the project in January 2024, James Civil Group were engaged by UGL to complete the civil works contract.  The works included clearing and grubbing of the 245-hectare site, construction of access roads, internal roads and hardstand areas totally over 100,000m2 as well as extensive drainage works. Winton Solar Farm

Located just north of Benalla in North East Victoria, the Winton Solar Farm is a 85MWac solar farm.

In early 2020, JCG commenced working on the 250 hectare site in Winton, Victoria to construct over 15km’s of internal access roads, hardstands and drainage as well as 36km’s of electrical trenching.  Despite one of the wettest winters on record in the area and working through COVID, JCG successfully partnered with GRS and other contractors on site to deliver the works on time by January 2021.

Glasshouse Expansion

JCG has a long-standing relationship with Murphy Fresh (now Flavorite) and has partnered with them for over 10 years as their business has expanded.  Having completed the earthworks for many of the glasshouses at their Mansfield and Tatura sites, we most recently completed works in Tatura for the site expansion to include glasshouses 5,6 and 7 and works for the construction of two new dams totalling 60ML.
