Committed to a safe working environment (AS 4801-2001)

At JCG safety is our principal goal. We are committed to establishing, implementing and sustaining safe practices and a safe working environment for all activities and tasks undertaken. Our safety management systems extend beyond our own team, thereby ensuring the safety of anyone who comes into contact with our staff during the provision of our works and services.

Our primary focus is to ensure that our workplace, including any site upon which we conduct business, remains injury-free. In order to achieve this we comply with all OHS legislation, standards and codes of practice. We establish objectives with quantifiable targets, which are monitored and reviewed regularly. We continually seek avenues for the refinement and improvement of our methods in this extremely important field. All our staff and employees are involved in this process and their input into OHS decision making is both mandatory and welcomed. Our staff are formally inducted into their various work tasks and ongoing training is regularly provided.

 JCG is a System certified contractor, using the Integrated Management System to fulfil all Safety, Environmental and Quality requiremnts for all projects.

Environmental – (ISO 14001-2004)

At JCG we are committed to carrying out all our activities and tasks with minimal environmental impact. We employ careful strategies to limit our carbon footprint and are eternally mindful of contributing factors such as energy efficiency, emissions, resource consumption, waste and discharges. Our aim is to constantly improve and advance our environmental policies and procedures, thus exceeding the expectations of our clients and the community at large. We operate in accordance with legal and other requirements and have achieved an impeccable track record in this field.

JCG encourages environmental awareness and proactivity at every level and our staff are given the opportunity to achieve a Certificate in Environmental Management in Civil Construction through the Civil Construction Federation (CCF).
